World of Asphalt highlights 2027 Show Chair Tim Gorman

World of Asphalt will make its New Orleans debut from March 15 to 17, 2027. The show has welcomed new leadership focused on guiding the asphalt, paving, and aggregate convention and wider industry. The 2027 Show Chair, Tim Gorman, stepped into his new role roughly a year ago; he is instrumental in developing the strategic direction of World of Asphalt as the show builds momentum from a successful 2025 event in St. Louis. 

"World of Asphalt continues to be an important gathering place for asphalt and aggregates professionals to connect, share ideas, and see the equipment and solutions that are moving our industry forward," Tim said. "I'm honoured to serve as chair and help support a show that delivers real value to producers, contractors, and exhibitors alike."

Tim brings decades of experience in asphalt and aggregates to the show 

When he's not advancing the World of Asphalt Show & Conference, Tim is Division Vice President of asphalt and aggregate materials producer Rogers Group Inc. With extensive experience in asphalt production, construction, and transportation infrastructure, he is an active leader within the industry. He also serves in volunteer leadership roles with the National Asphalt Pavement Association and the Alabama Asphalt Pavement Association, helping direct the future of the asphalt pavement industry through advocacy, education, and strategic planning.

Co-located with the AGG1 Academy & Expo, the event connects asphalt, paving, and aggregates professionals with leading manufacturers, practical solutions, and industry insights that help move their businesses forward.
