MAXAM Tire is expanding its MS501 MineXtra lineup with the new 50/65R51 size. Designed for large wheel loaders operating in demanding mining conditions, the new addition extends the MS501 lineup to support durability in L5 applications.

Features of the new 50/65R51 tire size

Engineered for tough off-the-road operations, the MS501 features an extra-deep open L5 tread design with staggered tread blocks that deliver ample wear life, traction, and damage resistance.

A reinforced bead, shoulder, and sidewall package, combined with MAXAM's cut- and tear-resistant compound, reduces downtime while providing the stability and durability operators demand in high-impact loading applications.

These design characteristics make the tire suited for surface mining, hard rock quarries, and other severe-service operations where maximizing productivity is critical.

"The addition of the 50/65R51 further strengthens the MS501 product line and our dedication to supporting customers across an even broader range of mining and quarry applications," said Matt Fagan, director of R&D at MAXAM Tire North America. "As equipment continues to grow in size and productivity demands increase, we're focused on delivering tire solutions that help operators maximize uptime, reduce operating costs and get the most from their equipment."
