Goldhofer expands North American presence with first U.S.-based facility

The 80,000 square-foot facility in Hickory, S.C., will support future growth in the region

Goldhofer will establish its first North American production facility in Hickory, North Carolina. 

The project represents a $20 million investment and will strengthen Goldhofer's manufacturing and service capabilities across the North American market. The facility will also add 80 new jobs by the end of 2030. 

The new Hickory facility will be constructed on Lot 5 at Trivium Corporate Center, with an initial 80,000-square-foot production hall. Additional phases of development are planned as the company continues to expand its footprint and meet growing customer demand throughout North America.

Goldhofer manufactures transport technologies for the heavy equipment and airport ground support industries. Product lines include heavy-duty, modular trailers, self-propelled transporters, and on-road semi-trailers like low-loaders and drop-deck options. 

The new facility will position Goldhofer to support customers throughout the region while reinforcing its commitment to long-term growth and investment in the North American market.
