Adapt the machine to the task with New Holland’s new compact wheel loaders
Operators can switch attachments safely from inside the cab using the hydraulic skid steer-style coupler

The D-Series Compact Wheel Loader lineup from New Holland Construction has been expanded with the W70D, W80D, and W80D Long Reach. The new machines are available in Q3 2026 and build on the design of the W100D Compact Wheel Loader with a redesigned cab and enhanced operator experience.
Custom operations on standard machines
The new models match machine size and performance to specific operations across landscaping, construction, material handling, and agriculture.
The W70D and W80D feature mid-sized frames, while the W100D Compact Wheel Loader, launched in 2025, remains the largest machine in the lineup.
"Segments like landscaping and construction crews are expected to accomplish more than ever in a single day, while often times moving between multiple job sites and changing up applications multiple times," says Dan Kakareka, product manager for New Holland Construction North America. "The new W70D, W80D, and W80D Long Reach Compact Wheel Loaders give crews the ability to perform more tasks with a single machine, helping businesses make the most out of their time, labour, and equipment investment."
Seamlessly transition attachments with New Holland's hydraulic system
Landscape businesses can perform multiple tasks without sacrificing efficiency. The new D-Series Compact Wheel Loaders are built to meet those demands and help crews move more seamlessly between nursery work, hardscape installation, material handling, and site cleanup.
Whether loading mulch, transporting decorative stone, unloading trees and shrubs, and moving pallets or bulk materials around a job site, operators can easily adapt to changing tasks. The machine features a hydraulic skid steer-style coupler that allows operators to swiftly switch attachments from inside the cab, minimizing downtime and improving productivity.
With compatibility across a wide range of attachments, including buckets, pallet forks, tree spades, and bale spears, contractors and landscapers can use a single machine for numerous applications throughout the workday.
Each model can manoeuvre in confined spaces while minimizing disturbance to finished landscapes, making the machines valuable for residential and commercial landscaping projects.
Additionally, the new D-Series Compact Wheel Loaders deliver for applications beyond landscaping. Construction crews can utilize the machines for truck loading, pallet handling, and material movement across job sites. During the winter, compact wheel loaders can be equipped for snow removal, enabling fleets to stay productive and generate revenue year-round.
Operator-focused design enhances the overall experience
At the centre of the new machines is a completely redesigned cab, focused on operator comfort, visibility, and productivity.
New heated air-ride seats with integrated joystick controls mounted directly to it allow the controls to move with the operator as the seat absorbs ground bumps and vibrations. This setup helps maintain consistent operating control while reducing operator fatigue during long workdays.
The in-cab environment has been further enhanced with a lower front console, larger front windshield, and improved sightlines to the attachment and work area. A new monitor mounted on the right-side A-pillar places live machine metrics and information directly within the operator's line of sight.
To improve communication on busy job sites, the machines also come standard with a right-side sliding window and door that allow operators to easily interact with crew members without leaving the cab.
Standard features across the new models
The new D-Series Compact Wheel Loaders were developed to be easy to operate while helping crews maintain productivity throughout the workday.
A multifunction joystick places loader controls and machine functions within easy reach, allowing operators to manage key features without removing their hands from the controls. Standard features such as ride control, cruise control, creep mode, return-to-dig, return-to-dump, and return-to-travel help streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
Operators can also customize boom and bucket response speeds to match their experience levels and application requirements. New operators can slow machine response for greater precision and confidence, while seasoned operators can increase boom and bucket speeds to achieve faster cycle times on job sites.
Advanced hydraulics deliver smooth, precise operation through flow sharing and load-sensing capabilities that adjust hydraulic flow for increased efficiency and fuel savings.
With travel speeds of up to 25 mph, these machines can move quickly between work areas to help crews spend less time transporting equipment and more time completing projects.
Work with confidence
Improved operator sightlines, a standard rearview camera, and backup alarm improve awareness around the machine, while the LED lighting package and available four-corner strobe kit enhance visibility during low-light conditions.
Each compact wheel loader includes seven years of telematics connectivity through myNewHollandConstruction. Fleet owners can access machine location, operating hours, maintenance schedules, and machine health information. Features such as geofencing, curfew monitoring, and maintenance alerts also help improve fleet management, equipment security, and overall uptime.
Ordering will be available during the third quarter of 2026 through local New Holland Construction dealerships.
