Features of the new Extreme Duty Series 2 Augers
The Extreme Duty Series 2 Augers have been engineered to handle rocky and heavy soils with precision, and are constructed with durable, high-grade materials intended to extend the life of the attachments. Each auger features an Eaton drive motor and comes standard with 2 or 2 and a half-inch hex shafts.
With six available models (EX2, EX3, EX4HF, EX5HF, EX6HF, and EX7HF), these augers offer a maximum range of 2,630 to 7,189 ft-lbs. of torque, depending on the model. The compact, high-torque drive design allows the auger to extend into the hole, maximizing drilling depth and productivity.

The Extreme Duty Series 2 Augers design provides additional features that support performance and reliability, including:
- A two-piece shaft design that ensures maximum side load ratings.
- A universal skid steer mount with welded cradle and dual-pin design that allows for natural hanging and stable drilling (skid steer, mini-skid steer, and tractor models).
- An 18x19 adapter plate that provides compatibility with pin-on, pin-grabber, or wedge-lock excavator mounts (excavator models).
- An available telescopic skid steer mount for extended reach and drilling depth.
To accommodate different ground conditions and drilling applications, Blue Diamond Attachments offers heavy-duty bits, heavy-duty bits with cast heads, rock bits, and tree bits for the Extreme Duty Series 2 Augers, along with auger extension and adapters.
