Liebherr will use CONEXPO 2026 to show what "Hands on the future" means in practice — machines in operation, applied digital solutions, and long-term investments shaping the construction sites of tomorrow. Liebherr's philosophy is grounded in practical engineering and collaboration, focusing on technologies that improve safety, reliability, and planning while enabling increasingly connected, data-driven operations.

Earthmoving and material handling: machines designed for demanding applications

Earthmoving and material handling equipment represents the largest share of Liebherr's CONEXPO lineup, with a focus on durability, efficiency, and long service life. This focus is reflected in machine concepts designed for continuous operation, efficient power delivery, and low total cost of ownership. Central to the exhibit is the articulated dump truck — TA 230 Litronic — shown in live operation throughout the week, engineered for heavy-duty applications. Additional highlights include the Generation 8, crawler dozers, including the PR 716, developed for grading and site preparation, as well as the crawler loader LR 636 G8. Both machines are designed for sustained operation in challenging environments, where durability and precise machine control are critical. The machine features hydrostatic drive technology, optional 2D and 3D grade control, and an ergonomically designed cab.

The R 945 crawler excavator is a solution for heavy-duty quarrying and earthmoving, emphasizing precise machine control, fuel-efficient operation, and long-term reliability. Its clean design and optimized drive systems are intended to deliver consistent performance and reduced wear in high-load applications. The wheeled excavator A 924 demonstrates Liebherr's approach to compact design and mobility for infrastructure and civil engineering projects, while the mid-sized wheel loader L 546 will be shown in live demonstrations equipped with active personnel detection and the Skyview 360-degree camera system, reinforcing Liebherr's focus on operator awareness and job site safety.

Electrification and energy efficiency are represented by machines such as the LH 60 M Industry E, an electrically driven material handler designed for a wide range of applications. Operating emission-free and quietly, the machine uses an energy recovery system to reduce overall consumption while maintaining high handling performance. Liebherr's XPower wheel loaders, including the L 550 and L 586, further illustrate how application-specific kinematics and power-split drive technology are used to balance performance, fuel efficiency, and robustness across recycling, industrial, and classic loading applications, with a clear focus on durability and consistent performance throughout the machine lifecycle.

Live demonstrations: technology shown in real operation

Live demonstrations will take place several times a day in the dedicated demo area, giving visitors direct insight into how Liebherr machines and assistance systems perform under real working conditions. The demonstrations highlight practical applications of operator assistance systems, digital solutions, and alternative drive technologies, reinforcing Liebherr's focus on measurable job site value rather than static display. Featured demo machines include the R 914 compact excavator, L 546 mid-sized wheel loader, TA 230 articulated dump truck, PR 716 crawler dozer, and the 38 XXT truck-mounted concrete pump.

Cranes that make a tangible difference on site

Liebherr's crane exhibits include a world-premiere all-terrain crane, along with a range of mobile and crawler cranes spanning compact to heavy-duty lifting classes. These machines emphasize optimized transport concepts, advanced assistance systems, and efficient setup procedures.

Tower cranes complete the portfolio, highlighting solutions designed for high-density urban construction and large infrastructure projects. This includes the 91 K self-erecting crane from the new K series, which will be showcased with intelligent assistance systems that enhance precision, efficiency, and safety in material handling.

Digital solutions focused on measurable job site value

Liebherr's digital solutions and services are presented in a dedicated pavilion, where visitors can explore how software, connectivity, and data-driven tools are applied across construction operations today. Demonstrations include MyLiebherr for fleet and performance management and Crane Planner 2.0 for realistic 3D lift and site planning. Visitors can also experience the Liebherr simulator, which provides a realistic training environment and supports safer, more economical operator qualifications.

Foundation equipment: deep foundation technology in the Platinum lot

At booth P7761 in the Platinum lot, Liebherr presents a focused overview of deep foundation technology, emphasizing flexible machine concepts and system integration. The exhibit includes the LRB 19 piling and drilling rig featuring a hydraulic quick connection for rapid attachment changes. Also on display are the LB 35.1 drilling rig with a new lattice boom extension for greater drilling depths and the THS 110 D-K crawler concrete pump for specialized deep foundation applications.
