Sudhanshu Singh becomes CEO of NORS amid reaffirmed commitment to contractor solutions

NORS Construction Equipment Canada has made an important update to its Canadian leadership team, reinforcing its commitment to delivering dedicated solutions to its contractors and the greater construction market. 

Over the past year, NORS has navigated significant market challenges while delivering complex, high-impact projects across Canada. These experiences have further strengthened its organization and confirmed that a unified national leadership model is the right strategic direction for proactively responding to market opportunities, enhancing alignment, and driving operator excellence. 

As part of this evolution, Sudhanshu Singh has been appointed chief executive officer of NORS Construction Equipment Canada ST, which primarily serves Eastern Canada. Sudhanshu brings extensive industry experience and a strategic vision aligned with NORS values, ensuring a close focus on contractors, business performance, and sustainable growth. 

This appointment marks a key milestone in NORS' transition to a strong national leadership structure in Canada, reinforcing the company's commitment to operational excellence, governance alignment, and enhanced contractor service across its Canadian businesses.

How will the transition work? 

Sudhanshu was appointed CEO of NORS Construction Equipment Canada, and is currently completing a two-month transition period to assume leadership of NORS Construction Equipment Canada GW, which operates in Western Canada. During this time, he is working closely with current CEO Colin Matejka, whose tenure will conclude in February, 2026, ensuring continuity and stability across Canadian operations.  

Singh's experience in the construction industry  

Singh brings more than 30 years of global industry experience, including senior leadership roles with construction equipment manufacturers such as Terex and Caterpillar. He has over a decade of executive leadership experience, with a strong track record in customer-focused growth strategies and supporting market expansion across North America. In his role, Singh will focus on advancing integration across NORS' Canadian businesses and strengthening governance and operational alignment nationwide.
