Caterpillar CEO Joe Creed to deliver keynote at CES 2026

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has announced that Joe Creed, chief executive officer of Caterpillar Inc., will be a keynote speaker at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The event, a recognized technology showcase, will take place January 6–9. Creed's keynote is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, in the Palazzo Ballroom at the Venetian.

Marking its 100th anniversary in 2025, Caterpillar plans to use its CES appearance to look ahead to the company's next century, emphasizing its growing role as a technology leader in industrial and construction equipment. The company will highlight developments in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and autonomous functionality, as well as new partnerships and strategic investments.

Caterpillar's keynote presentation will outline how digital innovation is redefining the way the company and its customers dig, mine, build, and power the world. Topics will include the company's evolution in autonomy, the expanding role of AI in equipment and operations, and how data-driven tools are improving safety, performance, and efficiency. The session will also explore Caterpillar's internal technology transformation, with digital systems designed to enhance workforce productivity, product development, and customer support.

Under Creed's leadership, Caterpillar continues to build on its legacy of engineering excellence with a strong focus on digital and connected solutions. Having held leadership positions across multiple divisions during his nearly three-decade career with the company, Creed brings extensive operational and strategic insight to Caterpillar's future direction.

Caterpillar will also exhibit at CES 2026 in the Las Vegas Convention Center's West Hall, booth #5019, where attendees can experience new and emerging technologies firsthand.
