Bobcat expands industrial air compressor lineup with new variable speed models
The new variable speed models improve performance and flow rates while reducing energy consumption
Bobcat Company has expanded its air compressor portfolio with the new EA series variable speed models. Designed for top-tier flow rates and maximum energy efficiency, the new lineup is built to meet the demands of modern industrial operations.
The new models — EA30VS, EA50VS, EA75VS, and EA100VS — are in stock and available to order through authorized Bobcat distributors.
Performance and efficiency
The Bobcat EA series variable speed models are engineered to deliver ample performance while reducing energy consumption.
Engineered for power, performance, and efficiency, each model features an IE5 energy efficiency-class electric motor utilizing permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) technology, placing them among the most energy-efficient compressors currently available.
Additionally, the variable speed (VS) drive automatically adjusts air output directly to meet demand, which prevents wasteful cycling and maximizes energy savings. At the core of each unit, the high-capacity, two-stage airend is configured in an over-under setup to deliver superior flow rates across horsepower range. A variable speed fan extends component life by maintaining ideal operating temperatures, even under the toughest working conditions.
Smart controls and reliable support
In addition to core performance, the EA Series is equipped with smart operational features and backed by Bobcat's commitment to durability and service.
The compressors feature an advanced controller via a 7-inch colour LED controller display for intuitive operation. This system allows connection to, and intelligent optimization of, up to three additional compressors, ensuring the entire compressed air system operates at peak performance based on demand. Operators can easily customize performance with programmable scheduling by date, time and pressure bands — delivering precision control with minimal effort. Built for toughness, the units are suitable for outdoor installation when properly sheltered from the elements.
The EA series, along with all other Bobcat industrial air products, comes with an industry-leading, five-year, bumper-to-bumper warranty and dedicated US-based parts and service support.
