CASE to showcase full range of equipment at The Utility Expo 2025

CASE Construction Equipment will be attending The Utility Expo 2025, October 7-9, presenting a range of equipment for utility operations. The display (booth K277) will include electric zero-emissions models, compact machines, and heavy-duty units designed to support crews in a variety of job site tasks efficiently and effectively.

Leading the charge with electric equipment

Municipal crews, maintenance teams, and utility contractors frequently operate in environments with strict noise and emissions restrictions. CASE's electric vehicle lineup provides versatile options that help teams meet job site requirements efficiently and effectively.

For larger tasks in urban or sensitive environments, the four-wheel-drive, 580EV electric backhoe loader combines strength with sustainable, emissions-free operation. With the same performance and breakout forces as the popular 97-horsepower CASE 580SN diesel model, the 580EV provides productivity-boosting capabilities along with all the advantages of electrification: clean, quiet operation, instant torque, and lower daily operating costs. The 14-foot electric backhoe is also compatible with many of the same attachments the 580SN supports and includes an Extendahoe to boost reach. Features such as ProControl swing dampening, PowerLift/PowerBoost and electrohydraulic controls improve precision and ease of use.

For tight job sites or indoor work, the compact, 1.5 metric-ton CX15EV mini excavator gives contractors more power and capabilities on the job with a minimal footprint. At less than 32 inches wide, this unit can fit through almost any doorway and is compatible with numerous attachments, including various buckets, augers, and hydraulic hammers.

Compact equipment for conquering compact job sites

Utility work often requires both flexibility and precision, particularly in confined spaces. At The Utility Expo 2025, CASE will showcase its lineup of compact equipment designed to meet these challenges while supporting efficient operation and reliable performance.

Previewing at the expo ahead of its official release, the 24-horsepower CX34D mini excavator pairs precision and performance for crews that work regularly in cramped spaces. The true zero-tailswing design allows operators to work close to walls or structures, while three power modes and proportional hydraulic controls make it easier to dial in performance.

For crews operating in confined spaces, the 58-horsepower CX50D mini excavator delivers robust performance in a compact package. It combines high lifting capacity with precise digging capabilities, featuring standard multifunction hydraulics and a second auxiliary circuit, with an optional third circuit available for advanced attachments.

The CX90E midi excavator delivers 72 horsepower and features minimal tail swing for efficient operation in tight spaces. Its compatibility with multiple attachments provides crews with the versatility to tackle larger tasks in areas where conventional equipment may not fit.

The 90-horsepower TV450B compact track loader combines strength and stability for utility crews managing demanding workloads. With high-flow hydraulics and industry-leading breakout force, it is suited for attachment-intensive tasks such as grading, loading, and material handling. Intuitive controls enhance precision and operator comfort, while a wide range of compatible attachments supports diverse jobsite applications.

Completing the compact equipment lineup, the TL100 mini track loader delivers versatile functionality in a compact form. Featuring stand-on operation, a rated operating capacity of 1,000 lbs., and compatibility with over 40 attachments, the TL100 provides a practical and adaptable solution for light-duty utility tasks.

Heavy hitters for knocking down hard jobs

For larger utility projects requiring greater power, CASE's heavy-duty machines offer robust performance. At the forefront is the 580SV Construction King side shift backhoe loader, a multifunctional machine powered by a 97-horsepower engine with four-wheel drive and extensive attachment options. Its innovative side-shift design enables rectangular trenching without repositioning and allows for precise operation close to structures.

For rugged roadwork and urban jobsites, the WX175E SR wheeled excavator is designed for versatility on the move. With advanced hydraulics and compatibility with attachments such as tilt rotators, pallet forks and grapples, the WX175 can adapt to multiple roles while providing excellent precision and control. The 580SV can reach speeds of up to 22 mph, allowing crews to move efficiently between job sites and making it well-suited for complex urban projects that demand both power and agility. Attendees can see the machine's versatility in action with a tiltrotator and multiple attachments. 

CASE will also showcase the 96-horsepower 750M dozer, offering a drawbar pull of 41,000 pounds, no diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) requirement, and standard electrohydraulic blade controls. Its durable undercarriage minimizes vibration, while an advanced load management system adjusts track speed to match the load, supporting efficient site preparation and precise grading on utility infrastructure projects.
