JLG simplifies servicing boom lift platforms with new feature on select models

JLG Industries, Inc. has introduced a new standard feature designed to simplify the servicing of boom lift platforms in the field with minimal interruption. The Rapid Replaceable Platform is a new standard feature on select JLG boom lift models in North America, helping contractors who use mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) to remain consistent in workflow. 

This new design enables damaged platforms to be removed and installed in a fraction of the time compared to traditional methods, keeping machines on the job and reducing costly downtime. 

Key features include:

• Centre storage tray and self-closing gates as standard
• Dual USB-A and USB-C charger included as standard
• Tool clip locations standard on both sides of the console box (22-lb capacity)
• Manual storage box relocated for added protection
• LED light is installed beneath the console box for platform illumination
• No reduction in platform capacity, maintaining the model's rated capacity
• Full compatibility with approved JLG accessories

The Rapid Replaceable Platform phased into production across all platform sizes for applicable models in May 2025. Machines built with the Rapid Replaceable Platform are not compatible with traditional platforms. When platform replacement is required, customers can visit Online Express to select the appropriate Rapid Replaceable Platform for their model.
