Brandt to sell John Deere construction and forestry machines in Australia
A wide range of John Deere machines will be available in Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania

In a move set to strengthen equipment access and service for the construction industry in Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania, Brandt has been named the new John Deere construction and forestry dealer across these states. This change is expected to be effective as of August 1, 2025.
The appointment sees Brandt, a family-owned company and John Deere's largest dealer group, expand its growing presence in Australia, bringing with it a reputation for reliable equipment, extensive parts availability, and long-term contractor support in the construction industry.
Brandt's successful history with John Deere
Brandt started with a single John Deere construction dealership in Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1992, and through a long-term-focused philosophy, they have built a reputation of having a strong commitment to support in each of the regions it serves. This commitment is what has fueled the growth of its construction dealership network, which now has 56 stores supporting all of Canada and 13 stores supporting New Zealand.
Brandt's extension into Deere's lineup of construction and forestry equipment is the next chapter in its ongoing investment across Australia. Since entering the Australian market in 2021, Brandt has rapidly invested in its network of agriculture, golf, and compact construction equipment dealerships, growing its teams, putting more parts on the shelf, and more technicians on the road.
With over 30 years of experience serving construction companies, Brandt looks forward to bringing its long-term partnership and uptime-focused mentality to serve contractors across Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania.
"Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania are some of Australia's fastest-growing regions, with significant investment in infrastructure and commercial development," said Shaun Semple, Brandt's CEO and owner. "We know that customers across these states demand a high level of service from their equipment dealers, and we're ready to invest in our operations to meet those needs."
"We are excited to get to know the hard-working contractors across the area," concluded Semple. "As we hear your needs, we will work hard and invest in our operations so we can earn your business for many years to come."
