MacLean and Sika combine proven expertise to advance underground construction sector

MacLean Engineering and Sika have entered into a formal collaboration to deliver enhanced value to the underground mining and civil construction sectors.
The partnership will bring together complementary strengths and will focus on aligning MacLean's proven Shotcrete Spraying equipment and technology offerings with Sika's product lines. Together, the companies will explore avenues for innovation, operational synergy, and market differentiation.
MacLean Engineering manufactures underground mining and tunnelling equipment, mechanized ground support, utility vehicles, and shotcrete. Sika focuses on construction chemicals and systems, including technologies in concrete, shotcrete accelerators, grouting, and anchoring solutions.
Through this collaboration, the two companies aim to align their respective expertise and technologies to deliver increased value to contractors, particularly in the areas of shotcrete application, chemical admixtures, and system integration.
