Mack Trucks' Load Finder helps carriers reduce empty miles by optimizing spot loads

Mack Trucks has released Load Finder, a digital freight solution created to help spot carriers reduce empty miles, boost revenue, and make better and quicker decisions in the trucking industry. The solution is available for Mack trucks and any dispatcher or fleet, regardless of the make or model of the trucks. 

How Load Finder works 

Using real-time data, machine learning, and intuitive design to match fleets with high-quality and relevant spot loads, Load Finder offers a solution for carriers to unlock revenue, improve utilization, and reduce the unnecessary waste of running empty. Mack collaborated with freight startup Class8, a Canadian company that has been developing innovative trucking solutions since 2015. 

Load Finder identifies live truck and shipment data to identify driver availability, location, and where the driver is headed next. It also aggregates load databases and market trends to identify the best load for each driver. Using both live data and machine learning, Load Finder also automatically generates load recommendations and market rate insights directly to the carrier's inbox, enabling drivers and fleet managers to negotiate with brokers for higher rates.
