JCB expands Vibromax roller line at Pave-X 2025
The two new vibratory tandem rollers offer solutions for the North American paving industry

JCB continues its re-entry into the North American asphalt roller market with the new CT380 and CT430 vibratory tandem rollers introduced at Pave-X 2025.
With the addition of the CT380 and CT430, JCB has expanded its tandem roller lineup to four models, providing versatile options to match the needs of North American job sites. The lineup, which also includes the compact CT160 and mid-size CT260, ensures that contractors have the right tools for paving or compaction tasks.
JCB's return to the tandem roller market was one of Heavy Equipment Guide's 2024 Top Introductions.
The CT380 and CT430 vibratory tandem rollers
The CT380 and CT430 are equipped with features to tackle the toughest jobs, offering reliable compaction and operator-focused design, with:
- Versatile compaction power: Dual-drum widths of 51 inches (CT380) and 55 inches (CT430) deliver centrifugal forces of up to 13,800 pounds and 14,600 pounds per drum, ensuring enhanced compaction.
- Efficient operation: Both models feature maximum travel speeds of 6.2 mph, enabling swift movement across worksites.
- Exceptional manoeuvrability: With a +34-degree steering angle and +13-degree oscillation angle, the rollers can navigate tight turns and uneven terrain.
- Operator-centric design: Adjustable seats, easy-to-use controls, and improved visibility reduce fatigue and enhance operator productivity.
- Low maintenance, high uptime: Simplified service points and reduced maintenance intervals keep machines on the job longer.
- Smart security: JCB LiveLink telematics provides advanced tracking and monitoring.
With 48.9-hp, 3-cylinder engines, the CT380 and CT430 are built for daily use. Their operating weights — 8,820 pounds and 9,920 pounds respectively — strike a balance between easy transport and heavy-duty performance.
JCB maintains its commitment to the American paving industry
"Our new rollers underscore JCB's long-term investment in North America," said James Gill, JCB product manager. "From our new manufacturing facility going up in San Antonio to the launch of products like the CT380 and CT430, we are laser-focused on meeting the needs of U.S. contractors with machines that are reliable, easy to operate, and built to perform."
"Our philosophy is robust simplicity," Gill explained. "These machines are easy to operate, easy to maintain, and ready to work whenever you are. That's what makes the CT380 and CT430 invaluable on American job sites."
