Telescopic booms add reach and height for New Holland small articulated loaders
Loader operators who need a little more reach will get just that thanks to two new telescopic New Holland small articulated loader models. The ML35T and ML50T provide more reach and hinge pin height when loading or moving materials is required.
The two new models are lightweight and are powered by Stage V certified engines fitted with diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and diesel particulate filter (DPF) emissions controls. They offer 65 and 74 horsepower respectively. Durably built, they are crafted to minimize wear with steel plates and reinforced booms.
The flexible nature of the telescopic booms allows operators to retract and extend as needed for jobs with various height needs. With increased elongation of the boom, these models are a good fit for sites with limited space thanks to their ability to deliver horizontal and vertical outreach. They are also capable of handling materials at elevated heights, such as loading concrete debris over dump truck box sides. Both models feature a hinge pin height of around 170 inches.
With an ISO standard attachment coupler, these loaders can connect with an array of attachments.
Safety features on the new small articulated loaders include ROPS and FOPS certification, backup alarms, rotating beacons, road light kits, and LED lighting for enhanced visibility.
The rear articulation position on these loaders puts the operator toward the front of the machine, making for a more ergonomic and accessible cab. The loaders can be maneuvered closer to walls or in tight spaces with reduced risk of collision. The cab is also more stable thanks to the inclusion of zero-cab swing, which New Holland states is unique to its small articulated loaders. Climate control and adjustable seating are included.
