User-friendly, secure digital platform from Krank powers Liebherr online marketplace

The first hosted digital platform for sales of used equipment developed by a major equipment OEM has launched, providing a secure, user-friendly marketplace for buyers and sellers to connect. Powered by Krank technology, the new Liebherr Used Equipment Marketplace is a big step forward in used equipment sales.

Krank tailored the platform specifically to meet Liebherr's precise needs, which included upgrades and replacement of existing systems to enhance service delivery. A robust and scalable digital platform, the Used Equipment Marketplace provides a showcase of how Krank technology can be sized for the needs of various businesses that are looking to sell used equipment.

 The Liebherr Used Equipment Marketplace is user-friendly and offers a selection of pre-owned machines that include wheel loaders, tracked and wheeled excavators, plus attachments and spare parts from Liebherr sales and service partners. Advanced search and filtering tools allow users to easily find what they need. The platform supports global accessibility and promotes sustainability by extending the operational life of equipment, offering cost-effective, resource-conserving solutions.

Liebherr's marketplace has launched with web access and will soon add mobile app access as well. The app will provide personalized watch lists, real-time notifications, and direct seller communication to simplify the purchase process.

Selling directly through its platform lets Liebherr maintain complete control over profitability and eliminates the need for intermediaries. This preserves against margin erosion for Liebherr and offers buyers the assurance of purchasing at the best price directly from the owners of the equipment.
