The MOBISCREEN MSS 502(i) EVO mobile scalping screen from Kleemann is compact, flexible, simple to operate, and optimized for feed capacities of up to 350 tons per hour.

Debuting for North America in late 2024/early 2025, the MSS 502 (i) EVO offers a generously dimensioned feed hopper, a screening surface of 5.4 square metres, and a wide main discharge conveyor that ensures good material guidance.

Well-designed hydraulic concepts on the new machine ensure high power transmission for lower costs. An optional electro-hydraulic Dual Power drive allows the machine to be run electrically for on-site emission-free operation. A load-controlled fan reduces noise levels and diesel consumption. Water sprays at the discharge conveyors cut dust emissions and improve working conditions around the machine.

All of the conveyor belts feature steplessly adjustable speed, and a simple conversion from two to three final grain sizes is possible, adding flexibility to the screener. The screen casing angle can be set from 15.4 to 20 degrees for a high screening capacity combined with very high product quality. This is complemented by a wide available selection of screening media that can handle everything from excavated earth to decorative grit.

A user-friendly operating system familiar from the MSS 802 (i) EVO is used on the new MSS 502 (i) EVO. Automatic mode for simple and fast production start is a core element, as well as the mobile operating unit, optional radio remote control, and telematics solution for improved planning and analysis.

A good view of transfer points and the material flow is always possible thanks to LED lighting (optional Premium lighting). Easy ergonomic access to screen decks and components requiring maintenance improve safety and reduce downtime. Flexible refueling from both sides of the machine and simple cleaning of the hopper discharge conveyor undersize using a retractable chute also help cut downtime.

Compact transport dimensions and stepless drive control simplify transporting the screen. During setup, joystick control on the mobile operating device combines with assembly-free folding out of discharge belts to allow easy and precise overall positioning.
