Skyjack arrived at The ARA Show 2024 to and launched a new micro scissor line with the SJ3213 micro and SJ3219 micro. Skyjack says that these low-level access machines are a significant new choice for the company.

The SJ3213 micro and SJ3219 micro are reliable, combining low cost of ownership with Skyjack's product support. Fully proportional drive and lift controls offer ideal drive with efficiency, operability, and improved torque while variable speed brushless AC electric front wheel drive provides ideal duty cycles.

"Building on the success of the previous SJ3013/14 micro we now have not one but two new micros. Featuring E-Drive – improving controllability and providing consistent power, torque, and traction," shares Senior Product Manager Corey Connolly. "Our focus is always on improving productivity and cost of ownership, and E-Drive allows our newest micro scissors to give you more for less."

The newest micros have been designed to fit most passenger-style elevators and work in environments where space is at a premium while still providing a substantial work area. Key features of the latest micro line include:

  • 13- and 19-foot platform heights,
  • 500-pound platform capacity,
  • AC electric drive performance,
  • Fits through a standard door (rails up),
  • 20-inch rollout extension to increase work area and provide up-and-over capability,
  • Low GVW fitting into a standard elevator,
  • Low floor loading.

Rental companies and contractors face increasing demands for sustainability information. Skyjack has introduced its ECO mark to support sustainability goals by providing products that deliver benefits in environmental performance and long-term sustainability.

Skyjack's E-Drive scissors ECO benefits include:

  • 16 percent operational carbon saving compared to the previous model,

  • Zero emissions,
  • 90 percent recyclable (by weight),
  • Optional ECOtray leak containment,
  • Approved for use with bio-degradable hydraulic oil,
