Manitou launched a new series of telehandlers at CONEXPO 2023 and has expanded that line with a new, compact model at The ARA Show.

The Manitou MTA 519, also available under the Gehl brand as the Gehl TH5-19, is 6 feet 4 inches in height and 5 feet 11 inches wide, making it easily transportable to different job sites. It has slinging points at the front and rear of the machine.

With a turning radius of 10 feet 10 inches, the MTA 519 can maneuver well in tight work spaces. It is fitted with a universal skid-steer quick attach system supported with a full power ground engaging telescopic boom. It has a maximum working height of 19 feet 1 inch, and a maximum load capacity of up to 5,500 pounds. Its outreach of up to 11 feet 2 inches works well for handling and unloading materials on the second floor of a structure, and ground clearance of 13 inches ensures the telehandler can manage a range of terrain.

Manitou has ensured that the MTA 519 is easy for operators to use. Cab access is easy and step-free, and once inside the operator will find an ergonomic dashboard as well as excellent visibility. A single joystick simplifies boom operations.

The universal skid-steer mount makes it possible to use a wide range of attachments, making the telehandler versatile for rental companies. Maintenance is made easier thanks to accessible components, and a standard automatic parking brake improves safety.

In addition to the new MTA 519, Manitou Group offers seven models under both Manitou and Gehl brands. The range offer lifting heights from 19 to 55 feet and lifting capacities from 5,500 to 12,000 pounds, along with improved visibility, enhanced comfort and performance, and lower total cost of ownership.
