Parker Hannifin will join the CE Dealer team as a new partner for season two of the FIA World Rallycross (World RX) Championship. Coinciding with the partnership, the CE Dealer team has also been renamed to the CE Dealer Team by Volvo Construction Equipment.
Volvo CE says that the CE Dealer Team by Volvo Construction Equipment wants to continue working with like-minded partners including Parker Hannifin to continue to drive change in motorsport and the construction industry.
Volvo CE and Parker Hannifin also developed and recently launched the L120H Electric Conversion wheel loader. Volvo CE says that the 20-ton electric machine is a result of the partnership's desire to drive change.
The team's race car will also benefit from an update, with a fresh look bringing it in line with a new design language for Volvo CE products. The new design language is also shown on the L120 Electric Conversion wheel loader.
Season 2 of World RX
The 2023 season will begin in Montalegre, Portugal on June 3, 2023, and will continue with a packed schedule in racing tracks across Norway, Sweden, U.K., Benelux, and Germany. World RX will then finish the season with new race locations in Cape Town, South Africa, and Hong Kong, China.
