(VIDEO) Historical Ontario road and bridge projects take centre stage in "Dirt Roads to Freeways... and all that"

Evolving traffic needs drove plenty of construction work across Ontario during the early- to mid-20th Century.

This film from the provincial archives shows off a number of projects - the construction of the Trans-Canada Highway, Welland Canal tunnels, bridge, and more.
