Canadian Construction Association’s Person of the Year named

Paul Charette, chairman of Bird Construction Company has been named the 2010 Canadian Construction Association’s Person of the Year. The CCA said Charette has been “a tremendous contributor” to construction associations at the local, provincial and national levels. Mr. Charette adds this award to his Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Real Estate and Construction.
Charette currently is the chairman of the Coalition of Advanced Skills, a national coalition aimed at seeking continued and expanded federal support for the expansion of Canadian college training infrastructure.
