Updates to Tigercat telematics systems let operators send and receive text messages without cellular service

Tigercat has introduced new features on its RemoteLog and LogOn telematics system.

Using the same satellite connection as RemoteLog, machine operators or technicians may now send and receive simple text messages when no cellular mobile network is available. Worksite supervisors can now send messages to machine operators quickly and easily. 

Users can also now access the ‘Data that Matters' from RemoteLog directly through a new web service using IT servers. It's now possible to share geographic position and production data for machines with landowners and forestry operations companies. 

Users can also easily view production, activity timelines, and fuel consumption on their mobile device using LogOn at the worksite and can download formatted reports in PDF or CSV formats.
