MEC's Xtra-Deck now available for boom lifts
MEC Aerial Work Platforms has extended its latest innovation, the Xtra-Deck, to include boom lifts.
Like the MEC XD on scissor lifts, the Xtra-Deck on boom lifts provides an additional 20 inches of height with three telescopic guardrails so that users can reach confined places without standing on the midrails to do so.
The featured guardrails on three sides of the Xtra-Deck slide up and lock into place to meet regulation height. This additional protection enables the operator to freely use both hands to complete tasks.
The Xtra-Deck can be quickly deployed and has a capacity of 250lbs capacity to accomodate a single person. When not in use, the Xtra-Deck can quickly be stowed and the guardrails can be retracted to their original position. The Xtra-Deck can be field fitted to any MEC boom lift platform regardless of size.
