Watch: 1940s road repair film shows off bituminous distributor trucks

Here's an interesting view of road work in the 1940s - trucks fitted with spray bodies placing bitumen and stone to create rural and larger road surfaces. These trucks from Littleford Brothers were part of the company's roadbuilding line, which was around for decades but disappeared in the 1980s - today, the parent company produces mixing, drying and separating equipment for various industries.
