Up and Down Lifting Solutions purchases first Ruthmann T 235 A in Canada

Ruthmann aerial work platform in operation

Up and Down Lifting Solutions in Ayr, Ontario, recently took delivery of their first RUTHMANN T 235 A to expand its fleet of truck mounted aerial work platforms. Up and Down and its customers quickly ordered a second RUTHMANN T 235 A to expand their fleet and provide more capacity for their rental customers. The 235 ft (72m) working height truck mounted aerial work platform has an outreach of up to 118 ft (36 m).

The working height and outreach make the RUTHMANN T235A ideal for providing needed access in multiple applications including wind, communications towers, electrical transmission, building maintenance, and any other access situations which require height, extreme outreach, or multiple articulation points. The 3-section second boom and controllable third boom with 180 degree articulation between both the first and second booms and the second and third booms add to the up and over flexibility and capability with a total up and over length of 66' (20 m).

With a platform capacity of up to 1323 lbs. (600 kg), safely lifting tools, materials, and people is easy for the RUTHMANN T 235 A. The large platform which extends from 8' (2.4 m) wide to  12' (3.65 m) wide offers enough space for Up and Down Lifting Solution's customers to complete their work efficiently while also providing electric or air to power their tools.
