DICA FiberMax Mega Duty Crane Pads, shown in 8 ft. x 5 ft. x 10 in. size, are rated for 325,000 pounds capacity and weigh 1,290 pounds.

Axion Structral Innovations and DICA have announced plans to co-locate in multiple booth locations at CONEXPO-CON/AGG. Axions's Struxure Composite Crane Mats and Heavy-Duty Access Mats will be on display alongside DICA's SafetyTech Outrigger Pads, FiberMax Crane Pads, and ProStack Cribbing Blocks.

In addition to co-locating at CONEXPO, DICA and Axion have agreed to establish a strategic partnership to bring engineered matting products to crane users in the heavy lift market. The companies' values and products share common benefits for users. Each company uses the highest quality engineered materials that provide benefits over traditional wood products. The companies' engineered materials produce reliable and consistent performance properties in products that have an extremely long life.

AXION STRUXURE® Heavy-Duty Composite Mats, shown in 7 in. x 45 inx x 16 ft. size, weigh 1,800 lbs.

Allen Kronstadt, AXION's Executive Chairman, said: "DICA impressed us with its comprehensive and engineered product line, technical leadership in the industry, brand strength, and overall integrity. By providing performance-driven products that outlast and outperform wood alternatives, both companies are solving safety problems in areas where wood products perform inconsistently. DICA and AXION are a natural fit and complement each other."

Among the AXION products to be on display at the CONEXPO booth are: Struxure Heavy-Duty Composite Mats, Steel-Reinforced Composite Mats, Composite Laminated Mats, and Composite Wedge Mats. Using a proprietary structural composite formula, Struxure mats are strong, durable, and impervious to rot, fungus, insects, and moisture. They provide cost-effective, long-term solutions in wet or harsh temperature environments.

Trail King Steerable Dolly Offers Better Maneuverability

Trail King recently updated the design of the steerable dolly with a front steer design. This new design allows for better maneuverability for a greater steering angle, tighter corners and less manual steering.  The dolly offers wireless manual steer and auto alignment after manual steer for an automatic self-centering function. Trail King has increased the hatbox rotation angle on this model with the ability to turn up to 65 degrees. The centralized grease port for turntable allows for easy upkeep and maintenance. This versatile dolly can be used with a Schnabel setup, replace standard wheel area for a steerable 13 axle configuration, or can be used in combination with a Jeep/Dolly for Bunk work.
