Truck Transportation and Equipment Showcase coming to Southern Alberta

Truck Transportation and Equipment Showcase coming to Southern Alberta

Southern Alberta’s transportation and construction industries now have a trade show they can call their own. The Truck, Transportation and Equipment Showcase (TTE Show) will launch Thursday September 19 and Friday September 20, 2013. The new industry show will feature over 100 exhibitors and sponsors, and approximately 2,000 contractors from greater Calgary and southern Alberta are expected to attend the exhibition at the centrally located and historic Strathmore Stampede Grounds.

The TTE Show is going to be held under the big blue sky of this multi-acre, outdoor venue less than 25 minutes east of Calgary. For exhibitors featuring hand tools and other services, the TTE will feature several tents for 10’x10’s as well as smaller spots for non-profit associations and special interest groups. For bulk exhibits (larger than 400 square feet) TTE will feature the latest “iron” - a variety of configurations from 20’x20’ to 40’x100’ will be on offer.

A prominent feature of the annual TTE Show will be three active demo areas.  Contractors and buyers will be able to operate and evaluate a vast variety of equipment - from trucks to grinders and rough terrain lift trucks to laser-quided scrapers – all available under actual jobsite conditions and unique to this outdoor event.

In addition to the exhibition and demos, the TTE show will host several industry seminars on topics such as small business marketing, energizing your team and estimating workshops.  Sponsorship opportunities will be available for both the seminars and the exhibition itself. Because of its location, all site parking will be free and show management will be able to choose suppliers who offer the best value to exhibitors.

“We’ve heard from a number of manufacturers, distributors and dealers that a trade-only event for truck, transportation and equipment owner/operators would be of tremendous value to both southern Alberta buyers and sellers,” said Show Manager Bruce Guerin of Big Feats Management & Logistics.

"Unlike static indoor events where you just admire the “shine”, we plan to offer up opportunities to operate and evaluate a massive variety of trucks, equipment and machinery.”

"We expect keen interest from the likes of owner/fleet and general freight operators, landscapers, hobby farmers, developers, builders and others in the industry,” Guerin  added.
