Skyjack to demonstrate innovations at Platformers’ Days in Germany

Skyjack will attend the upcoming Platformers' Days exhibition held September 14–15 in Hohenroda, Germany. First established in 1999, Platformers' Days is Germany's leading show for the demonstration of mobile access equipment and will be held at the Hessen Hotel Park, Hohenroda.

"The start of 2018 has been a very exciting year for Skyjack," says Andreas Stumpf, sales manager for Skyjack in Germany. "From the introduction of our ELEVATE telematics solution, to the concept reveal of our next generation of DC scissors, Skyjack is maintaining its renowned simple reliability all while keeping pace with the increasing demands of the rental market."

For those who haven't had an opportunity to see some of these innovations up close, both ELEVATE, and Skyjack's next generation of DC scissors will be available for demonstrations throughout the two-day event. Other machines to be displayed include the SJ16 vertical mast (227-kg capacity), SJIII 3219 / 4620 (227-kg / 590-kg capacity) DC scissors, SJ6832 RTE (454-kg capacity) hybrid rough-terrain scissor, the SJ30 ARJE (227-kg capacity) articulating boom, and the SJ85 AJ articulating boom with dual-platform capacity of 227 kg / 340 kg.

Skyjack says that ELEVATE is a game changer in the world of off-highway telematics and the market's answer to building a truly connected rental fleet. ELEVATE is differentiated by its ability to deliver the most important data as opposed to just the most data. This key differential adds critical value to Skyjack's rental customers and helps deliver actionable insights and measurable benefits. A cost-effective mobile-first piece of technology, ELEVATE helps fleet managers achieve increased flexibility, safety, efficiency and productivity.

Earlier this year, Skyjack also revealed a prototype for the next generation of DC scissors, as they introduced their SJ4740 model. The new features associated with this next generation further enhance the overall simplicity and reliability of Skyjack machines. These features include a newly designed control box, increased scissor stack rigidity, updated SKYCODED control systems and diagnostic display, as well as simplified E-lowering and pothole protection functions.

"Our team will be positioned at the ‘Roter Platz' area of the show with limited edition Skyjack t-shirts to the first 100 visitors," Stumpf announces.
