Following Terex Trucks’ acquisition by Volvo Construction Equipment in June 2014, Sales & Marketing and Aftermarket were identified as key areas which will be boosted by investment in 2015.
Motherwell-based truck manufacturer, Terex Trucks, has now increased its support of and interaction with its dealers and customers with the appointment of key, senior Sales & Marketing and Aftermarket management. The new appointments will help to position Terex Trucks as a key global competitor in both articulated and rigid dump truck markets.
The team will assume their new positions through January and February.
Sales & Marketing appointments
Leading Terex Trucks’ new Sales & Marketing team is global director, Sam Wyant. Sam brings with him a wealth of construction equipment experience and sales expertise from senior leadership roles with Volvo Construction Equipment in North America. He was most recently based in Brussels as the Road Global programme manager. Sam will be supported by new dedicated Sales & Marketing directors for each region along with global directors for Aftermarket and Dealer Development.

As Sales & Marketing Director for EMEA, Guy Wilson will prove to be an invaluable addition to the team. Guy brings to the table a breadth of knowledge of the construction equipment industry gained from his experience as managing director for Volvo CE Italia SpA. Previous to that he was CFO and Deputy MD of the GB Volvo CE dealership.
In the current market, the Asia Pacific region is fundamental in the construction equipment industry, and Terex Trucks has just the man for the job. New Sales & Marketing Director, Clement Cheong, is based in Singapore and has over 20 years of experience in dealer management, new business development and sales and marketing of construction equipment in the Asian marketplace.
Aftermarket appointment
New global Aftermarket director, Andy Turnbull, and his family will be relocating from North Carolina to Scotland where he will join the Terex Trucks aftermarket team as global Aftermarket director. Andy will be moving from his current role at Mack Trucks as director, Aftermarket & Soft Products for Latin America. Andy has also held senior roles within Mack Trucks in customer and product support, technical support, warranty and product quality.
Dealer Development appointment
With 40 years of experience in the construction equipment industry, Nick Rose brings with him a breadth of invaluable experience across service, marketing, remarketing, sales and dealer development. Nick’s previous role was director, Rental & Remarketing EMEA for Volvo CE EMEA. He will be based in the UK as Terex Trucks’ new global Dealer Development director.
