Montabert crusher buckets provide material processing alternative

Montabert crusher buckets provide aggregates producers, as well as construction and demolition contractors, with an all-in-one collecting, crushing and loading solution. Designed for use with a variety of compact and heavy carriers weighing more than 3-1/2 tons — including skid-steer loaders, backhoe loaders and excavators — Montabert crusher buckets quickly process stone, concrete and asphalt debris, among other hard, inert materials. The resulting material can then be reused on-site or loaded for removal.

Unlike dedicated crushing and handling equipment, Montabert crusher buckets are easily transported from one jobsite to another and are fit for work in confined spaces — such as populous urban centers — as well as in mountainous or hilly regions. In addition to reducing dust and noise levels associated with separate crushing and handling equipment, Montabert crusher buckets help minimize transportation and waste disposal costs, providing operations with a competitive edge.

Montabert offers seven wide-aperture crusher bucket models, ranging in size from 2,980 to 22,046 pounds. With a loaded capacity of 1/2 cubic yard, the smallest of the seven Montabert models (L-CRB 301) crushes up to 19-1/2 cubic yards of material per hour at an adjustable output size of between 1/2 inch and 2 inches. In comparison, the largest model (CRB 2301) boasts a loaded capacity of 3 cubic yards, processing up to 158 cubic yards of material per hour at an adjustable output size of between 4 and 8 inches.

Similar to standard heavy-duty earthmoving buckets, Montabert crusher buckets provide operators with a simple design and straightforward method of operation. Made of high-strength steel and having wear-resistant jaws, Montabert crusher buckets require minimal routine maintenance.

To ensure optimal service life, Montabert encourages operators to check screw fastenings, springs and the hydraulic system transmission belt every 50 working hours and to grease important joints every 30 working hours. Depending on the particular jobsite application, certain parts may require replacement more frequently than others. An optional electromagnetic separator, complete with its own on-site installation kit, is easily attached to the Montabert crusher bucket, enabling the collection of iron and steel.

Countries worldwide have long benefited from the advanced hydraulic attachment technology of Montabert. Backed by a vast parts, service and support network, Montabert crusher buckets provide operators with a dependable, productive and cost-effective material crushing alternative.
