Following the launch earlier this year of Bobcat’s new M-Series excavators, M-Series skid-steer and compact track loaders feature the most significant design changes since the first skid-steer models were introduced more than fifty years ago, according to Bobcat.
The first in the new M-Series are the S630 skid-steer loader and the T630 compact track loader. The new models are designed to enable operators to accomplish more work through performance and durability enhancements that provide more power and keep the loader working longer. Units also feature increased operator comfort through improved visibility and a more spacious and comfortable cab.
The S630 model has a rated operating capacity (ROC) of 2,180 pounds and an operating weight of 7,707 pounds, and the T630 has a ROC of 2,230 pounds and an operating weight of 9,015 pounds. (Soon to be introduced models include the S650 and the T650.)
The hydraulic systems on M-Series loaders have been engineered for higher standard flow and pressure that give attachments more power to work more quickly. Hydraulic horsepower has been increased more than 15 percent, standard auxiliary hydraulic flow is now 23 gallons per minute at 3,500 pounds per square inch, and optional high flow reaches 30.5 gallons per minute for high levels of attachment performance.
