The S-60 and S-65 Trax telescopic booms feature an innovative four-point track system permanently fixed to the machine. They have a narrower profile – 8 feet 6 inches wide – to allow these booms to be easily transported, and an inside turning radius of 14 feet and an outside turning radius of 21 feet. Because the Trax booms steer like a wheeled unit, operators can easily drive these machines on and off the delivery trailer, as well as maneuver in close proximity to walls and foundations.
Track booms are ideal for working year-round in ground conditions that are muddy, soft, sandy, snowy or wet, and can also easily travel over sensitive turf and harder surfaces like gravel, rock, concrete and asphalt. Ground contact pressure is 9.2 psi for the S-60 and the 9.7 psi for the S-65. The S-60 has a 500-pound lift capacity at the maximum horizontal outreach of 50 feet 10 inches, up to a working height of 66 feet. The S-65 models provide a 500-pound lift capacity at the maximum horizontal outreach of 56 feet 2 inches to a working height of 71 feet.
