Faster and more powerful
The power and performance of the ZX450LC-3 makes it perfect for trenching, demolition, construction, quarry and scrap yard use. The Zaxis 450LC-3 weighs 48,163 kg and comes standard with a 3.9-m arm, a 9,150-kg counterweight, and 900-mm triple semi-grouser shoes. Other arm lengths available include 2.9 m; 3.4 m; and 4.9 m. A 6.3- m mass-excavating boom with a 2.9-m arm is also available, as are 750-mm triple semi-grouser shoes.
The Isuzu engine achieves its 348 net peak hp (260 kW) at 1,800 rpm. HIOS III is perfectly matched to the Isuzu’s torque curve. Thanks to regenerative systems, arm, boom and bucket actions are faster. Bucket and arm digging forces are more powerful than ever. The HP power mode ensures efficient arm roll-in during deep excavation. A boom-mode switch, when turned on, reduces vibration and impact shock-loads due to less lifting or pulling of the body. As well as increasing comfort, this also increases component life.
