Special features on Yanmar’s CBL40 compact backhoe loader include a loader quick-coupler, mechanical parallel linkage for automatic bucket levelling, a short nose and a 180-degree swivel seat which provides easy access to both loader and backhoe controls. A heavy-duty, single-frame chassis offers a durable structure to support heavy loading and backhoe assignments. Loader bucket breakout force is 4,850 pounds. The transmission offers low fuel consumption and high performance, and the diesel engine produces 37.2 hp. This 7,750-pound machine has a forward speed of 13.7 mph and travels at 7.8 mph in reverse. Variable displacement, axial piston, hydraulic pumps allow for smooth, if not seamless, work operation. Most Category One three-point hitch attachments can be utilized once the backhoe is removed on versions equipped with lift and PTO.
