The VSS Macropaver 12B is a truck-mounted slurry/microsurfacing machine with average output of three to four tons per minute. Consistent quality is maintained throughout the production cycle with hydraulic fail-safe automatic materials sequencing, a feature pioneered and perfected by VSS.
Recent improvements include an automotive-style, modular wiring harness. Changes made to the hydraulics increase power to the fines feeder, and a simpler, more robust design achieves higher fines ratios with more precise control.
Unique to the Macropaver is its 850-gallon water and emulsion tanks, and its maximum aggregate capacity of 12 cubic yards, meaning fewer trips to the stockpile for the crew and more time saved.
