Case’s Series 3 compact track loaders include four models ranging from 69 hp to 83 hp, and with operating capacities from 3,783 kg (52 kW/8,340 pounds) to 4,955 kg (62 kW/10,925 pounds).
The 420CT model (shown here) utilizes a four-cylinder, turbocharged Case engine which provides clean burning Tier III-certified power and a 53 percent increase in torque over the previous model.
A dozer style undercarriage is engineered to hold fast on steep slopes and take command of muddy or sandy terrain. Plus, features like a welded one-piece unitized chassis, steel fuel and hydraulic tanks, loader arms that rest low on the chain tanks, as well as straddle-mounted pins make for long machine life.
Case pilot controls (available in either “H” or ISO patterns) allow for shorter throws and reduced lever effort for increased productivity and less fatigue, and increased visibility is made possible by side lighting, more side screen and top window punch outs and a redesigned loader tower profile. Other key features include: increased operator comfort, standard two speed travel drive, lifetime sealed and oil-lubricated rollers and idlers, steel embedded rubber tracks, an Easy-Tilt ROPS, and more than 75 available attachments. Options also include a hydraulic coupler for easy attachment changes.
