Range of tones in emergency alert system

The latest in the E2S AlertAlarm Series of high performance electronic sounders is the A131. With a sound output of up to 131dB, the units can be used to give flood warnings, civil defence warnings and in any situation where a warning has to be broadcast across a wide area. The new A131 has an effective range of over 250 metres and can be fitted with a number of control options including radio control, which enables a complete system with multiple activation points and siren locations to be created quickly and cost effectively as cabling will not have to be laid around the site. The three-stage A131 offers 45 tones, so it can give different tones for fire, evacuation or security alert.
