Powerful and efficient snowblower
RPM Tech has introduced its new model snowblower, the RPM227 monobloc. Equipped with a 261 kW (350 hp) CAT C-9 engine, two 685 mm (27 in.) augers, an impeller casing of 1003 mm (39.5 in.) in diameter and a fully welded triangular design frame, this unit does not leave anything behind.
The RPM227M is capable of handling all types of snow and arduous duty for prolonged periods of time. It provides up to 3000 tons per hour and a casting distance of up to 46 metres (150 feet). With its 302-litre (80 gallon) fuel tank, telescopic chute and five concave impeller blades, the RPM227M snow blower makes long periods of truck loading easier. It is also equipped with three sets of shear pins, two sets on the augers and one on the drive train to minimize damage caused by obstacles. Joystick control hydraulics, LCD screen, automatic engine shut off protection and clutch engagement protection are some of the features the RPM227M offers.
