The eight-ton class PC88MR-8 is designed to bridge the gap between compact and “construction” sized units. These units feature an X-Frame undercarriage and come standard with a KOMTRAX fleet monitoring system.
This new mid-sized excavator offers a short-swing radius design for access to tight jobsites, and includes five working modes as well as fuel management features. It also offers an all new air-conditioned cab, similar to construction-sized excavators, and is equipped with a control pattern change valve. Plus, these machines allow operators to choose either “backhoe” style or “excavator” style controls to match preference. Maintenance intervals are 500 hours.
