Remote monitoring device
The next generation Bullhorn ICP remote monitoring device, “the ICP+” is a wireless remote monitoring device that enables equipment monitoring and control worldwide. The patented ICP device was designed specifically for cathodic protection (CP) applications. The ICP+ has a number of important new features for CP monitoring including built-in outage detection and interruption verification. A MicroMax GPS80 current interrupter can be added to the device to allow the collection of IR-free cathodic protection reads; the GPS80 can be added either at the factory or as a field upgrade.
The ICP+ was also designed to be used for a broader set of applications than just cathodic protection monitoring. It provides scheduled and by-exception inbound reporting as well as two-way communication for on-demand reads and remote activating/ deactivating ancillary equipment.
