Single spindle rotary cutters for compact tractors
Woods has introduced the Heritage HC-Series single spindle rotary cutters for 15-50-hp PTO tractors. These cutters are available in 48-, 54-, 60- and 72-inch cutting swaths and are powered by a 540 rpm PTO. The HC-Series are ideal for maintenance of small acreage, rough grounds along fence rows, waterways and ponds. With a category III driveline, a rugged gearbox and Woods premium blades, the Heritage HC cutters muscle through grasses and brush up to one-inch in diameter. Available with either shear pin or slip clutch driveline protection, the HC cutter is designed to work with modern compact tractors, and a pan stump jumper protects the blade crossbar and gearbox. In addition, the 48- and 54-inch cutter widths allow for access into tight areas, while maintaining a cut that eliminates tire tracks. Plus, a floating top link helps prevent scalping on uneven terrain.

The Heritage HC-Series cutters come equipped with full-length skid shoes for added durability and are available in a variety of colours to match most available tractors.

Additional features include: a category I, three-point hitch; a 65-hp gearbox rating; tip speeds ranging from 13,028 fpm to 14,962 fpm; blade sizes of 3/8-inch by three-inch and 1/2-inch by three -inch; a contour frame design; a laminated 15-inch tail wheel with 360-degree rotation; and standard rear deflector and front belt shields.
