Terex Pegson introduced three of their new crushers at ConExpo in March. The three new track-mounted crushers include the XA750 jaw, the XV350 vertical shaft impactor, and the XH250 horizontal impactor. The XA750 jaw crusher (shown) is an entirely new jaw plant for larger quarry and recycling applications, which uses a modular design for high capacity. Some key features include a modular hopper/feeder section with a live pre-screen that is removable for transport if required, a one-piece hydraulically raised/lowered product conveyor, an extended dirt/fines conveyor, and a Jaques 55- by 35-inch jaw with a hydraulic adjustment system.
The XH250 horizontal impactor is designed for smaller recycling and quarry applications and features a Terex Pegson-designed horizontal shaft impactor. Features include an underpan feeder for main-belt protection, a hydraulically raised/lowered main conveyor, full tunnel protection over the conveyor, direct drive through HFO clutch with soft start, and an efficient two-stage grizzly feeder with underscreen. The XV350 shaft impactor features a Canica 2050 vertical shaft impactor on a revised 1300 Maxtrak chassis. A countershaft drive accommodates a conventional V-belt drive and HFO clutch for maximum fuel efficiency. Rotor speeds on the XV350 range from 830 to 1,750 rpm.
