The ViO35-5 Mini Excavator combines durability, reliability, versatility and innovation to create a cost-effective and environmentally-friendly excavator for small jobs on any site. Weighing in at 7,740 pounds for the base canopy unit with rubber tracks, this true zero tail swing design allows for 360 degrees turning of the counterweight within the width of the crawler. Tracks are positioned to present a stable platform and high tensile strength steel keeps the machine light while providing safety and balance for the operator. Maximum digging depth is 10 feet 6 inches, and units utilize the first tailor-made hydraulic quick coupler in the industry as standard equipment, for one-person attachment changes. ViO crawler technology on these units delivers an expanded track gauge for greater stability without increasing undercarriage width, and a VIPPS (ViO progressive 3-pump system) increases power and speed along with improved fuel economy. Short pitch rubber track tread blocks offer improved driver comfort in travel mode, and total track width is 5 feet 1 inch. ViO35-5 power comes from Yanmar’s 24.7 hp TNV series “Clean and Silent” diesel engines that are compliant with noise and emission regulations in Europe and North America.
