Multiple uses for zero turn power units provide snowfighting ability
The Grasshopper Company’s True ZeroTurn FrontMount power units serve as the heart of a high-performance snow removal system comprised of snowthrowers, dozer blades and rotary brooms. Grasshopper’s QuikConverter implement system lets users remove implements in minutes without tools. An optional winter enclosure (for 700 and 900 Series) and 16,000 BTU/hr. heater (for liquid-cooled models) protect operators from the elements.

PTO-driven snowthrowers for Grasshopper’s full line of True ZeroTurn mowers deliver “no-clog” performance. A discharge spout controlled from the operator’s seat rotates a full 180 degrees to deliver snow up to 30 feet away, and is available in 48- and 60-inch models.

Grasshopper multipurpose dozer blades are available in 48- and 60-inch widths and are adjustable to allow operation straight ahead or 25 degrees left or right. New 60-inch PowerBlade uses a self-contained hydraulic system for lift and infinite left-to-right angling. The Pro model has hydraulic angling combined with quick-response foot control height adjustment. A 60-inch V-snow plow is also available for sidewalks and open areas. Handle dirt, debris, slush and clear up to eight inches of snow with PTO-driven rotary brooms, available in 48- and 60-inch models (set at a fixed 25-degree right angle) as well as a 60-inch bidirectional model which utilizes a hydraulic lift.
