The 91,500-pound DuraTech 9564 Industrial Horizontal Grinder can grind an entire tree, large stumps, branches, wood pallets or green waste. It has a 40- by 60.5-inch feed opening, a PT Tech HPTO 15 wet clutch, an enclosed engine compartment for low sound levels, a self-cleaning air intake system, and a downward drive hammermill that keeps debris contained. Power is from a Cat C27 950-hp diesel engine. The 9564 Industrial Horizontal has a 40-degree oscillating unloading conveyor, a 30-foot long unloading conveyor that stacks material 22 feet high. Other specs are: 315 cubic-foot hopper capacity; 4,340 square-inch screen area; 42-inch diameter feed roller; 64-inch, 12,100-pound hammermill with 24 hammers; eight hammer rods (3.25-inch diameter); and 39-inch-diameter by 1.5-inch-thick rotor plates.
