Huber M-850-D Maintainer uses planetary drives
The new, improved and very versatile Huber M-850-D Maintainer now utilizes planetary wheel drives to provide smooth, powerful operation that is much quieter than a conventional drive axle and provides a flat cab floor for greater operator space and comfort.

The compact, highly maneuverable Maintainer is extremely efficient on grading jobs from base to finish work, as well as spreading asphalt, stone, fill dirt and other materials, plus snow removal.

It performs up to 75 percent of jobs normally handled by motor graders. Optional hydraulic attachments convert the M-850-D to a bulldozer, front-end loader, scarifier, side dozer or berm leveller. An optional broom attachment is also available. A 21.5 gpm gear pump supplies the implement hydraulic system. The bulldozer attachment can be used alone or in combination with the underbody grader blade. This is especially valuable in spreading stockpiled or truck-dumped loads, using the dozer blade to knock down the pile and the underbody blade to spread it. Typical Maintainer applications include streets, roads, highways, alleys, parking lots, airports, parks, golf courses and site development.

The Maintainer’s standard nine-foot (10-foot optional), hydraulically controlled moldboard is 13 1/2 inches high, has 38-degree angularity and 19-inch power sideshift control. Dual-cylinder control positions the blade 9 1/2 inches below grade to 13 inches maximum clearance. The power slide can retain blade plane and angle while extending or retracting up to 19 inches to work around obstructions such as posts and culverts.
