All five New Holland compact excavator models – the E15, E27, E30, E35 and E50 – feature an independent boom swing mechanism. One pump is dedicated to the swing circuit, which enables simultaneous operation of the boom, arm or bucket without any effect on swing operation. The models range from 3,240 pounds (1.47 metric tons) to 10,275 pounds (4.66 metric tons) and produce from 11.9 to 40.8 net hp (9.0 to 30.4 kW). The compact excavators provide bucket breakout forces up to 11,128 pounds (49.5 kN) and maximum digging depths from 6 feet 11 inches (2.11m) to 11 feet 9 inches (3.59m).
These compact excavators come equipped with rubber tracks to minimize damage to sidewalks, driveways and turf, while at the same time reducing noise levels. The telescoping tracks on the E15 can be narrowed to 35 inches to fit through a 36-inch gate or other narrow opening, and expands to 47 inches for full operating stability.
