Hitachi rolls out two new excavators – one reduced-tail-swing, one wheeled

Hitachi will display their new reduced-tail-swing Zaxis 135US-3 and the new Zaxis 220W-3 wheeled excavator equipped with a wrist attachment. In addition to these new models, there will be a Zaxis 350LC-3 and the large, 84-metric-ton Zaxis 850LC-3 with the Ultimate version of ZXLink. The ZX135US-3 replaces the 135US. Incorporating Tier-3 emission standards, the new 135 comes with the CRES II cab which is larger than before and has a wider seatback, more legroom, and more glass on the right-hand side for improved visibility. Low-effort, short-throw levers are easy to use. This fingertip control also reduces operator fatigue. The multilingual LCD colour monitor provides maintenance, attachment, and operational information. An air-suspension heated seat is an option. (Booth N-1541)
